At the Agency we recognise that adoption is a lifelong commitment and we will therefore provide support to Agency approved adopters upon request. This is regardless of whether a child was recently placed for adoption or was adopted some years ago.
The Agency provides Adoption Support Groups, details of which can be obtained by contacting the Agency.
Annual Social Events are also held for our adoptive families and the Agency’s Newsletter can be provided to our approved adopters upon request either by e-mail or by post.
Where the Agency is unable to provide specialist support to adoptive families, advice and guidance will be given about other Agencies who may provide this type of support.
This will include the Agency making contact with the appropriate Local Authority who has a duty to provide adoptive families with an assessment for adoption support.
