Independent Social Work Panel Members

As part of our ongoing service development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for YAA to recruit for Independent Social worker panel members.

We are currently welcoming applications from qualified, experienced, and ambitious social workers interested in becoming independent panel members for our approval panel.

As the Agency offers services relating to both Domestic and Inter-Country adoption and consider applications from both.

Person Specification:

• A social work qualification with at least three years post-qualifying experience in childcare social work, including direct experience in adoption work. This could include having worked with adopters or with children placed for adoption.
• Experience, either professionally or personally or both, of the placement of children in adoptive and/or foster placements or of children being cared for away from their birth family.

Requirements:

• Social Work England Registration.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Clear DBS check. (to be completed on appointment)
• Two satisfactory references. (to be completed on appointment)
