Yorkshire Adoption Agency shortlisted for Campaign of the Year
We’re delighted to announce that YAA has been named a finalist in the Campaign of the Year category at the Doncaster Business Awards 2026 for our ‘Adopt with Pride’ Campaign 2025.
The awards ceremony will take place on 3rd December 2026 at Doncaster Racecourse, bringing together organisations from across the region to celebrate business excellence and innovation.
Being recognised alongside some of the area’s most successful organisations is a fantastic achievement and reflects the creativity, passion and collaboration that went into delivering the Adopt with Pride campaign.
Celebrating diversity in adoption
Launched during August 2025 to coincide with the Doncaster Pride event, ‘Adopt with Pride’ aimed to celebrate YAA’s LGBTQ+ families and highlight encourage more people to consider whether adoption could be part of their future.
The campaign focused on sharing authentic stories, challenging misconceptions and highlighting the message that loving, stable homes come in all shapes and sizes.
Through digital content, social media activity, community engagement and partnership working, we were able to reach new audiences and start important conversations about adoption.
Why this recognition matters
At YAA, our mission is to find loving, stable families for children who need them.
Campaigns like ‘Adopt with Pride’ help us connect with people who may not have previously considered adoption and demonstrate that we welcome enquiries from people of all backgrounds.
This finalist recognition is a testament to the dedication of our staff, the families and adopters who shared their experiences, and the partners who helped amplify our message.
